Owen

Well I wanted to post a little update at 18 months about Owen, but it looks like it's going to be a 19 month update. Owen is taking after his big brother in the talking department, he sure is a chatterbox. Here are a few of the funny things he does and says.



Some of his most common words and phrases:
Momma
Dadda
Aiden- which sounds more like DeeDee
Layla- Aya
Spoon-poon
fork
Balloon-boon
Binky- which he calls a meanya
I get down
I stuck
Up
Milk
Monkey- which is his word for banana
No No
Rock- when is tired lately he asks to rock
book
car
Papa
Please
Thank you
Bye Bye
Spongebob but lately he calls him Bobby
monster
dark
I big
Whoa- which i hear from the back seat quite often
shoes
socks
hat
swing
cookie
bubbles
yogurt
puppy
fish
brush
bird
plane
bus
yellow-if you ask what color something is, everything is yellow
tree
and many many more, he can put 3-4 words together at times





Silly things he does:
He has a face that you just have to see, there is no way to explain
If you same Home Alone he puts is hands up to his cheeks and says agghhhh
He thinks he can jump soo high, really only one foot leaves the ground
If you ask him "who loves Momma" he promptly raises his hand and says "me"
He loves all animals and chases Layla around the house giving her hugs and kisses
He thinks farts are the funniest thing and calls them "poop"
He insists that he sit on the potty after Aiden
Down the dirt roads he likes to say "ahhhhhh" the whole way
Sometimes from the back seat he will call my name and when I turn around he has a finger jammed up his nose
If he sees a Christmas Tree he now says uh uh uh no no while waving a finger at you
He goes to the back door and will say "I go bye-bye" he takes after his father there
If he hears you start the water in the bathroom he comes running saying "bath"
He loves if toys have little men and calls them "guys"
Whatever you are eating he will ask for a "bite"
He can shake his booty and loves to dance, clap and spin around
He counts but usually starts at two
He can do the itsy bitsy spider and sings Old McDonald, his favorite is the e, i, o part


He can point to and name the following body parts:
Hair
eyes
ears
nose
teeth
tongue
belly
arms
fingers
legs
toes or piggies as he calls them
butt
face



At times he is quite the opposite of his older brother. He has no fear and will try anything his big brother is doing. He gets in the cupboards, climbs and doesn't let anyone mess with him. He is our little ham and we love him sooo much.
