Zoo Boo

We took the boys to the zoo for zoo boo last night. Jessica, David, Kyle, PapaMom and Papa met us there. It was a lot of fun. There were candy stations set up for the kids, lighted pumpkins led the way and there were some pretty neat zoo animals made out of pumpkins. The zoo put on a play for the kids in a nice warm tent. Aiden was still a little scared by the whole thing but Owen was pretty mesmerized by it.

Cookies

Aiden and I decided to make cookies while Owen took a little nap the other day. They weren't homemade cookies but we spruced them up a bit with some sprinkles.

Happy 80th Birthday Nana

Nana's 80th birthday was last Sunday and we got together with the family and her brothers and sisters (that could make it) for a birthday BBQ.

A Crabby Morning

We were having a crabby morning so I pulled out the stash of halloween crafts and some markers. Owen was content just watching from the high chair.

A Trip to the Park with Chloe

Yesterday was a beautiful day so we took advantage of it and called Aunt Angie and Chloe to come to the park and feed the ducks with us. Thanks for coming to play with us Aunt Angie and Chloe!!

Baby Blues

I know I've blogged about this before but I just can't get over how blue Owen's eyes are. Yesterday I pulled out the camera to take some pictures and was just in awe of how bright they were. It is so neat to see how the boys can look alike and so different at the same time. I had just come to the conclusion that the boys would look more like Gary but as Owen gets bigger I think he's looking more like a Susalla with that round face and lighter features.

Canning

Mom and I were crazy and decided to can 10 dozen ears of corn and 2 bushels of tomatoes while also watching 4 kids. We got it all done and realized that we might need to do some more, maybe without kids this next time.







I kept teasing Dad that he needed to have a sick day and stay home and help us, that didn't happen. Here are the boys waiting on the step for Papa to walk in after work...
