All Aiden has to do is hear that little snippet of the song and he goes crawling for the tv. Gary watches cops every night on Court Tv and it seems Aiden has become a fan also. I don't know if I want it on his top choices of tv programs but for now he seems to like it.

Christmas 2006

Merry Christmas! Christmas was great this year. Even though it didn't really feel like Christmas with the lack of snow, it was great being able to watch Aiden with all his gifts.

We spent December 23rd with the Susalla side of the family. We all got to christan Aunt Mary Jo's new condo. With only one spill....from Aiden...I think we did well. Emily had Aiden's name this year and got him the cutest Tigger and a book.

Christmas Eve was spent with the McFarland gang. We had a great dinner and then all headed to church. Aiden and Daddy spent most of their time in the hallway at church but I can atleast say he was there.

No presents were opened on Christmas Eve...they all said that was breaking the rules!

Christmas Morning!! Even though this was Aiden's second Christmas it felt more like his first. Santa left just a few presents because he knew that Aiden had lots coming that day.

After breakfast it was off to Papa and PapaMom's house. We were having dinner there with the McKeogh side of the family.

Even though those three days seem like a blur we are very blessed to have so many people who love us and to spend Christmas with. Aiden did a great job opening gifts. I think he needs another room for all the toys he has now!

Happy 1st Birthday!!!

It's hard to believe that a year has gone by so fast. It feels like just yesterday I was waddling around thinking that Aiden would never be here. I can remember everything almost to the minute that was going on a year ago today. I never thought when I got up that morning that I'd be holding such a miracle by that night. I was all set to head into work. I had last minute wrapping to do and I wanted to clear my desk off before the Holiday break. My car was loaded with gifts for those at work. I had a doctors apptoinment but didn't think anything of it. Even when I was being sent to the hospital for a test it still didn't sink in.

This last year has been wonderful. I love being a mom and pray every day that I am doing a good enough job.

Party Time

Aiden had his birthday party on Sunday. Everything turned out great and Aiden was such a good boy. We had lots of family and friends come to celebrate Aiden's First Birthday!!

Aiden loves to kiss his bears. He'll go in his room and pull out all his teddy bears and kiss them all. Here is a little video of him playing with his bears. If you listen close to the end of the video he even says "kisses".

Hair Cut

Well after much debate Gary finally caved and let Aiden get a hair cut. While mom and I were at the mall today we stopped by Carnival Cuts. The woman was very understanding of Daddy's concerns and didn't cut too much in the front but got rid of Aiden's baby mullet he had going.

Operation Cookie 2006

It isn't very often that Brye, Jackie, Melissa and I are at the same place at the same time, so I thought it would be nice to get together and make some Christmas cookies. Gary took Aiden shopping for the afternoon ( After a rough start, hope the car is working Brye). We made a TON of sugar cookies, chocolate chip, peanut butter blossoms and oatmeal cookies.

Aiden has been fascinated with his feet lately. While riding in the car he always has a foot in hand. The one mysterious question though is how do such cute little toes get sooo smelly??
