| Happy Birthday Dad! We spent the day sledding, drinking...lol and playing some UNO attack! It seems I was the only adult out pulling the kids around and may have put a hole in the boys snow tube! |

Winter Zoo Trip
We've started a sort of tradition Papa and the boys, every January during a little warm up we take the boys to the zoo. It's so neat to see the animals in their winter homes, you get to see them soo much closer. The winter trip has been the best time to see the polar bears it seems.

Papa's New Goats
We took a drive out to Papa and PapaMom's house to see the new goats. Over the past year Papa has lost a few goats so it was time to give Sydney a friend or two. Papa had to keep them in the garage until he could fix the fence in the yard, the goats are so little they would fit through the fence.

Happy Birthday Papa
Friday we spent the evening with Papa celebrating his birthday. We had a quiet evening with pizza, cake and a game of Left Right Center. Papa was the big winner of LRC and won $14.
Papa and his boys, we couldn't get a picture of all of them looking at the camera.

PapaMom was teaching the boys to stick marshmallows to their nose.

Saddie
PapaMom called to tell us today that Papa lost another goat. Saddie was one of the original goats we got when Jessica and I were about 12 & 13. We had been to a petting zoo and after coming home had bugged dad to get us two baby goats. Aunt Mary Jo got in on it and said she'd buy the goats if we could keep them at our house. Of course we started out like every kid with a new pet and woke up early before school to bottle feed the little goats. Before long dad was taking care of the goats and they became his little project. A few years later we added a third goat to the mix and a couple years ago a friend's father had a goat he could no longer take care of, so dad adopted her. This past year both Molly and Sammy died, leaving the two original goats Sydney and Saddie. Now poor Sydney is all alone. Dad plans to get a new goat in the spring so Sydney isn't all alone, Jessica has started looking alredy.
