Gingerbread House

I decided to get all crafty this year and make my own gingerbread for a house. It was a bit of a pain, but I'm sure I'll do it again. Daddy and Owen had an afternoon out shopping so Aiden and I decided it would be a perfect time to decorate the house. I think Aiden did a pretty awesome job!
 

A Snowman in April???

We woke up this morning to a surprising 7 inches of snow, just when we thought spring had finally sprung. Mother nature sure played a trick on us, maybe it's a late April Fool's Day prank. The last of the big snow piles had melted and the daffodils were beginning to bloom. Aiden was a little perplexed this morning when we had him look out the window. He didn't understand why there was snow outside. After work he asked all the way home if we could make a snow man when we got home. We rushed home and left Gary in charge of dinner and bundled up to head outside. We built a snow man and even had a snowball fight.

Tickle Time

Aiden loves to climb up on our bed and roll around. He's so proud because he's figured out how to get up there on his own now. After some rolling around I thought it was time for some tickles.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a fantastic Mother's Day! We spent it at the zoo with family, my sister and her two boys, my mom and dad, my Aunt and cousin along with some of my sisters in-laws. We got tons of animal pictures before the camera finally died. Aiden had a great time, I would have to say his favorite moment of the day was chasing the seagulls at our picnic spot.
